Little Bald Baby Billy Bird is writing his last blog . . . with tremendous sadness.
This experience with you, my readers, has been without question the most healing part of my journey with cancer. But it's over now and I have to move on, physically and emotionally. Just as much as the chemotherapy, the medical teams, and my private journal, I want this blog to always be a part of the capsule that I will close and file away under the title of "My Most Amazing Year."
I hope I have said something of purpose for each of you. There is no question that this writing, the research for it, and most of all, your responses and comments, have projected me into a new realm of spirit. Please continue to send me thoughts and ideas at BillKavanagh@aol.com.
Of all of my 95 blog entries, this is the most difficult. Just as I ended my journal with "Goodnight sweet cancer," I will end this amazing segment of my healing with,
Goodnight sweet friends. You saved a life.

Oh, Bill. I understand that this chapter of your life is coming to a close, but I hope that you'll start a new chapter and a new personal blog about life. You have so much more to say and insights to share. I know I'm just being selfish - I'll miss your writing if you don't continue in another way.
Bill,
I do understand that "lymph Notes"
needs to be in the past. As hard as it is to read this, it does make sense. There are so many things that you wrote that were just about life and looking at things differently. It always made me stop and think, which was huge. I will continue to stay in touch by email, but as you enter this wonderful phase in your life, please think about starting a new blog, maybe called " angles " or
" sideways. " For it's always refreshing and fun to read your creative clever insights. How many people go to chemo with clown? How many call cancer a blessing?
Love,
Elaine
Not a surprise Bill ... I have enjoyed dropping in now and then to read your posts and the replies too. I am glad for you that you are off to start a new chapter for your book of life. Enjoy ... and go safely ... and always wear that smile.
Hi Bill,
I'm sorry that you're stopping the blog. I've enjoyed reading it. You've provided many insights and good laughs!
Bill,
There comes a time when every chapter must end, but that doesn't mean its the end of the book. I enjoy reading your blog very much. I have taken a recent break from my blog, but I think I still have ways to help others as much as they have helped me, so I will continue to write. You will be missed in my world. Thank you for your openness and willingness to share your life.
It's never easy saying good bye, even if it's to someone you've never met but feel connected to.
Peace
Brian
I miss you.
